Anxiety is ultimately there as a useful tool to help us stay motivated. But, this feeling can start to become a problem when we become so overwhelmed we struggle to stay present or have difficulty even getting started. Anxious thoughts or feelings can feel all consuming and it can be hard to see the reality of what’s going on.

I find that parenting can be a parallel process. As we raise our children, we can also learn how to better show up as our true selves in the world.
